This is a post about Rompers...a very LONG post about rompers...you have bee warned.


I own one so far - that I totally love - I bought it right after I said "Okay I'm just going to try one on, it'll probably look terrible but I just want to see what it looks like" - BOOM new romper

Don't Be the Bunny

i had a body epiphany today, for the first time I not only liked my body, I realized it could be covetted.  This sounds bad I know but this is HUGE, not only for me but for average teenage girls everywhere.  I have wider hips and thighs in comparison to my top and I have average maybe a little on the small side boobs.  In the right clothes/bra however, everything balances out.  I'm not going to say it's a Christina Hendricks thing (i wish) but it's similar.  I was sitting in the dressing room at Urban Outfitters and I liked everything about my face; i didn't mind the bags under my eyes, think that my mouth was too small, or that my short short hair made me any less feminine and attractive.
What did I immediately do after this revelation? ...figure out how to dress it for a certain guy.  i sicken myself sometimes.  I sat there thinking about what I would wear on certain meetings and what I would do when he saw me with my new found confidence in my hot dress.
I'm such a chick

DO NOT DO THIS.  what matters is how good we feel about ourselves!  I don't have a boyfriend, I don't have a job, they only person I have to dress up for is myself.
UGH, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the dress I ended up getting.  I would have loved it even if I still thought my body was weird.  I will admit it was bought with certain events in mind but hopefully the nect tiem I put it on (tomorrow) I can enjoy my own confidence In it, and any compliments I get from dudes or chicks will be towards my own self esteem and well being - not proof that a certain guy should "totally be into me"

I can't wait until the boy trouble are no more - i really felt like I had grown up a bit.  Maybe I'm taking this to seriously but COME ON - I cant even buy a sale dress without consulting my inner guymeter.

Besides the awesome name they post one photo or video or quote from Leighton Meester/Blair Waldorf a day, that is all.  not a ton of commentary, no gossip(ironically), and no bull.  Leighton/Blair is the best thing to make a cold rainy day such as this just a little bit more New York (as if that was possible).

Did I ever tell you about the time I saw Matthew Settle/Rufus?  Well I did, when I was at the Harry P premier.  He rolled down the window of the car he was getting a lift in, swallowed the chinese food he was eating and waved to errebody.  I was the only one that screamed MATTHEW SETTLE

Look of the Week: A Day Late

okay so I've been busy for the past week (I'm sorry, I may be a senior but I'm not out of the woods yet) and i TOTALLY forgot yesterday was thursday aka Look of the Week Day so here's a double post


LOOK OF THE WEEK:

Normally I'm not a fan of EM's style, whenever she's dressed by someone else, she looks stunning, but when she gets the chance to critique her former looks in magazines, she never likes them and only likes the things she's picked out which never look as good or sometimes good at all.  Also anyone that would do those greasy n00dz is kind of...ugh anyone I don't find those hot at all. Plus anyone who says a look of their own "too Cindy Crawford" is going to irk me. end rant.  ANYWAY, lately all she seems to be doing is dressing herself, which is why if that is the case here, BRAVO EVA.  Everything looks perfect, this is probably the best I've ever seen her look.  Whatever you're doing or whoever you're paying, keep it up!

EEN or OUT-T:  Pan Am Bags (Classic Shape)

I love these, I think they're classic and yet they were ahead of there time.  The original blue is always the best but other colors are not bad, neon will take the look to an eighties level with the patent leather which is not somehwere I think these little guys want to fly to.  I'm a purest so I love the classic shape but the duffle bags and other stles are not bad.   They have a certain something that allows them to be cool, but a lot of people can pull them off, and there's not enough irony for them to become hipster thang.

I have to say though, as much as I love him I did not dig the Marc Jacobs version, your sig ruined it buddy, sorry.

 I love Modcloth.com it's one of the best sites for vintage and retro find in my mind (besides Ebay) they have such a wide selection that suits a ton of different styles.  They range in prince from inexpensive too "WHOAH, we'll see".  They have dresses, tshirts, shoes, jewlery, hats, books, room decor and sometimes more.  here's a couple of selections that I love

I am bloomin obsessed with Hanson.  They're my favorite band, bar none.  They've started tours and had concerts on my birthday before but NEVER somehwere I could actually go to.  Now I was only 4 when they first came out in 1997, but in '04 i found out about them when VH1 still played indie artists and had some variety, and ever since then I've been hooked!  

As you can see this is a MOE, so yes, I am a Fan Club member, I have been for a few years now, and proud.  I display my card proudly when the opportunity arises. WHAT ALL THIS MEANS is that all they are going to play is completely new songs to a small group of people.  SO GOOD.

I promise not to rave about Hanson any chance I get (that's what Facebook is for) only when it really matters
