Next month's issue of Esquire UK will feature an editorial that doesn't use Zoolanders or athletes attempting Blue Steel, it will have the ultimate men's fashion icon KEN as the focal point.
Can we get an AMEN
Ken is wearing customs designs by Burberry Prorsum, Gucci, Paul Smith, and Prada.
Of course, Ken's popularity has been soaring thanks to his astounding performance in already-a-classic, Toy Story 3. Ken's style has always been revered by those in the know, and now a wider audience and new generations can bear witness to the pillar of debonair masculinity and grooming artistry.
If you haven't seen Toy Story 3 yet I suggest you do, like right now. But be warned, prepare an dam of tissues for an ocean of tears.
Of course it is common knowledge that I in fact OWN the famous Ken doll represented in this film. He has been my companion for quite some time, even when my parents tried to get me the "Real Hair" Dr. Ken. Can you believe all he came with was a shapeless lab coat, 1 black short-sleeve mock turtleneck, 1 pair of khaki's, and a pair of Frankenstein Doc Martens? He looked like Tom Cruise! It was an impostor - I could never give him the same attention as the real deal - now HE knew/knows how to dress:
(His bow-tie matching cummerbund is currently being used by Barbie as a miniskirt)
Look at that snazzy fella! Look at those abs! Barbie's matching Date Time outfit never stood a chance.
Be sure to pick up your copy of Esquire UK on July 21st.
